Which Audis suit a Kays battery

Kays is suitable for older A3, A4 and TT without start-stop, where a quality calcium battery is correct. Start-stop Audis from roughly 2012 onwards need AGM or EFB, and A6, A7, A8, Q7 and Q8 typically take large H7 to H9 AGM cases, so those cars get a different brand from us. The 12V battery in an e-tron also needs AGM. We code every new battery to the energy management.

Is Kays a good choice for an Audi?

Only for older models without start-stop. On those it is a serviceable sealed battery. For anything with start-stop or heavy electrical loads, we recommend an AGM brand and will say so when you call.

Where do Kays batteries come from?

We do not want to state an origin we cannot confirm. Each battery's label gives the place and date of manufacture, and our technician shows you this before fitting.

Can you deliver a Kays battery to Sharjah?

Yes. We cover Sharjah as well as Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The technician fits the battery where the car is parked and takes the old one away for recycling.

Will a Kays battery last through a UAE summer?

A new, correctly sized battery should. Over the longer term, car batteries here commonly last two to three years whatever the brand. Heat and long idle periods are the main causes of early failure.
