What "the correct battery" means on an Audi
Three things have to match: technology, size and capacity. Technology is AGM or EFB on any car with start-stop. Size is the case standard, H5 to H9 on Audis, which decides whether the clamp and vent line up. Capacity in Ah should equal the original or sit one step above it.
We carry the common Audi sizes in more than one brand. If your budget and the car's needs point in different directions, we will say so plainly. A cheaper AGM is a reasonable choice. A standard battery in a start-stop Audi is not, and we will not fit one.

Identify the exact battery
From your model, year and ideally the chassis number we work out the technology, case size and capacity before leaving, so the right one is on the van.

Test what is fitted
A conductance test shows charge and health. We also check alternator output and standby drain so a new battery is not blamed for another fault.

Swap with the car kept alive
A memory keeper powers the car through the diagnostic port, so the clock, windows, radio and steering angle settings survive the change.

Code and prove it
The battery is registered in the energy management, fault memory is cleared and you see charging voltage and the new battery's reading on the tester.

Do I lose my settings when the battery is changed?
No. We connect a memory keeper before disconnecting anything, so the car never loses power. Windows, clock, radio and seat memory stay as they were.
What do you do with the old battery?
We take it away and hand it to a licensed recycler. Lead-acid batteries are almost fully recyclable and there is nothing for you to arrange.
Can I supply my own battery and have you fit it?
Yes, we can fit and code a battery you already have, as long as it is the right type for the car. The warranty then stays with whoever sold it.
Is the service really 24 hours?
Yes. Vans run through the night and on public holidays. Late-night arrival times are sometimes better than daytime because the roads are clear.
