On an Audi specifically
Audi engines need oil with a specific VW approval, such as 502 00, 504 00 or 508 00, not just the right viscosity. The wrong oil can cause trouble on newer engines. Many models have no dipstick, so the level is read in the MMI or instrument cluster after the engine is warm.

How often should I change oil on my Audi in Dubai?
Use the service reminder on the cluster as the baseline. Heat, short trips and long idling with the AC running are hard on oil, so many owners here change it at least once a year even when the distance is low.
Which oil does my Audi need?
The owner manual and the service booklet list the VW approval for your engine. Many newer TFSI engines use 0W-20 with 508 00 approval, older ones 5W-30 or 5W-40. Send us the model and year and we check.
Why does my Audi use oil between services?
Some consumption is normal on turbo engines, more so in hot weather and at highway speeds. If you are adding oil every few weeks, the cause needs finding. Common ones are the crankcase breather valve, turbo seals or piston rings.
How do I check the oil level without a dipstick?
Park on level ground with the engine warm, switch off and wait a few minutes. Then open the vehicle or service menu in the MMI and select oil level. The exact menu path depends on the model year.
