If your Audi will not start, we can jump start it at your location anywhere in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or Sharjah, usually within 20 to 35 minutes in Dubai. We use a surge-protected booster on the car's jump posts and then test the battery and alternator so you know whether it will start again tomorrow.

Why jump starting an Audi is not like jumping an old pickup

Modern Audis have a battery monitor on the negative terminal and dozens of control units that dislike voltage spikes. Clamping straight onto the battery negative bypasses the monitor, and a spike from a running donor car can leave you with warning lights that were not there before.

After a jump, drive for at least 30 minutes without switching off, ideally on a highway. If the low battery message is back the next morning, the battery has lost capacity and a jump will only get you one more start.

How we jump start an Audi safely

No towing. No workshop. Just this:

On site: 25 to 45 minutes

  1. Get into the car

With a flat battery the central locking may not respond. The key blade in the fob opens the driver's door, and the bonnet release is inside.

  2. Connect at the jump posts

On Audis with the battery in the boot or under a seat, the positive post sits under a red cap in the engine bay with an earth point nearby. That is where the booster goes.

  3. Boost with a protected pack

Our packs limit voltage spikes. Jumping from another running car with cheap cables is what damages control units, so we never do it that way.

  4. Test before we leave

Once it runs, we test the battery and alternator. You get a straight answer: fine after a long drive, or likely to fail again.

How do you jump start an Audi with the battery in the boot?

You do not go to the boot. There is a positive jump post under a red cover in the engine bay and a marked earth point. The booster connects there and the car starts as normal.

Will a jump start damage my Audi?

Not when it is done with a surge-protected booster on the correct points, which is how we do it. The risk comes from poor cables, reversed polarity or jumping from another running car.

My Audi started after the jump but died again next day. Why?

The battery can no longer hold charge, or something is draining it overnight. A health test separates the two. If it is the battery, it needs replacing rather than another jump.

Can you jump start an e-tron?

We can power the 12V system of an e-tron so it wakes up, which is the equivalent of a jump start. If the 12V battery has failed we can replace it on the spot.
