On an Audi specifically
Audi automatic climate control hides a low charge well. It simply works the compressor harder until the hottest weeks expose it. Plug-in hybrid and e-tron models use an electric compressor that needs its own non-conductive oil, so the workshop must know the exact model before connecting a machine.

How often should car AC gas be refilled in Dubai?
There is no fixed interval. A tight system loses a little gas over several years through hoses and seals. A check every couple of years before summer is sensible. If it needs gas every year, it has a leak.
When is the best time to refill AC gas?
Before the heat builds, in spring. Workshops are quieter, and a weak system is found before it is working hardest. Waiting until midsummer means queues, and a small problem has often grown by then.
Is a top-up the same as a full refill?
No. A top-up adds gas on top of an unknown amount. A refill recovers everything, weighs it and puts back the exact charge. Only the second tells you how much was lost and avoids overfilling.
Will refilling fix my AC if it blows warm?
Only if low gas is the cause. If the system is empty, there is a leak that needs repair first. If the charge is correct and it still blows warm, the fault is elsewhere and needs diagnosis.
