What is different about a Lexus battery
Lexus models mostly use JIS-pattern batteries with top posts and a clamp across the top, a different shape from the DIN batteries in an Audi. They are simple to fit and seldom need coding. The important part is matching the size code and terminal layout exactly.
Our vans are set up around Audi, which makes them well equipped for any car with monitored batteries and coding needs. For Lexus we bring the same tester, memory keeper and diagnostic tool.

Does a Lexus battery need coding?
Usually not. Most Lexus models accept a new battery without registration. A few recent start-stop models benefit from a reset, which we do when needed.
Do Lexus hybrids have a normal battery?
Yes. Hybrids carry a 12V auxiliary battery as well as the hybrid pack. When it fails the car will not go to ready. We replace the 12V one on site.
